Grade 6 Supply List

ÉAMS is a PODS (Personally Owned Devices in Schools) school. This means our grade 6 students have the option to bring to school technology that supports their learning.

Supplies List

Agenda/Planner

2 - 2” minimum binders (one that zips closed and one standard recommended)

4 erasers

1 large glue stick

400 sheets of lined paper (bring 1 package at a time)

1 200-page exercise book with graph paper (for math, will be used all year)

5 duo tangs

4 64-page exercise books

1 package of dividers (8 tabs)

1 pencil case

30 regular pencils or 4 mechanical (If mechanical, remember to purchase the correct size of replacement lead)

Pencil sharpener with the container to hold shavings

Pens (3+ different colours)

1 Wite-Out / Liquid corrector (liquid preferred as the rollers break easily)

2 highlighters

1 black fine point and 1 regular point Sharpie/permanent marker

Pencil crayons and/or thin markers

30 cm ruler

Protractor (full geometry set not required but encouraged as it’s required in Gr. 7)

1 pair of scissors

2+ boxes of Kleenex/tissues

4 thin dry-erase markers and an eraser

Gym Wear: Students need non-marking, good traction running shoes. They will need to change into gym clothes. Clothing and shoes will be stored in their locker. Students are expected to bring these home at least once a week to be washed. Please also keep an extra deodorant in the gym bag.

Optional items for locker organization:

Collapsable shelf, magnets, magnetic storage container, mini whiteboard and magnetic markers

What could I bring in to help support my child’s shared learning environment?

  • Ziplock-type bags (any size)
  • Plastic/compostable forks and spoons
  • Extra school supplies for students in need

Grade 7 Supply List

ÉAMS is a PODS (personally owned devices in schools) school. This means that we highly
recommend our Grade 7 students bring to school a laptop that supports their learning. We will not allow use of iPhones or other smart phones as a POD, as per our school policy.
The following supplies are requested:
4-5 multicoloured notebooks (hole-punched Hilroy style preferable)
2 - 2” binders
6+ dividers (dividers with a pocket are great such as Avery brand)
Geometry kit; must include a protractor
1 box of chisel tip whiteboard markers (preferably black; to be kept at school)
Erasers
1 large glue stick
lined paper (1 package)
graph paper (1 package)
Pencil case
HB pencils (pack of 24)
Pencil sharpener with container to hold shavings
Pens (blue/black, red)
5 highlighters (multiple colours including 1 yellow)
Pencil crayons (sharpened)
1 ruler (often in a Geometry kit)
1 pair of scissors
1 box of Kleenex to remain in the classroom
Basic Calculator (must have square root button; not scientific)
Reusable water bottle (preferably not a squirt bottle i.e. gatorade sports bottles)
Non-marking, running shoes (mandatory)
Highly recommend gym strip/clothing
Bag for gym strip (not your school backpack)
Deodorant
Optional Items:
Shelf for locker
Headphones with cord to be plugged into a chromebook or personal computer (optional; for listening comprehension if needed).
