Student Transfers

If your child will be leaving EAMS during the school year, please notify the teacher and the school secretary at least one week prior to departure. Please ensure that all textbooks, library books, and other equipment issued by the school are returned in a timely fashion.

Crisis Management Plan (Hour Zero) and Fire Drills

The Crisis Management Plan is designed to assist children and adults should it become necessary to face and emergency situation. Practice sessions are conducted throughout the year so that everyone in our school is well trained and calm during such a situation.

Communication

If any concerns arise with your child in regard to their academic progress or emotional growth, you are urged to contact your child’s teacher as soon as possible. Working collaboratively on areas of concern greatly increases the chances of identifying the issues and successfully dealing with the issue. Our on site Child Development Advisor (CDA) is also available for working with you child.

At EAMS we try limit our paper use, therefore the majority of our contact will be done electronically through our website and email.  I encourage you to set up an RSS feed to various points of this web site. Please contact us if you need help in this regard.

Parent Volunteers

You are needed and welcome! Volunteers are coordinated through School Council.
Any time you have to donate is appreciated!  Please click here for more information.
